Return and Warranty Policy

INVENTORY AND RETURNS

Upon acceptance of the distributor agreement, the distributor will place a stock order covering the requirements of his area, as determined by the Spillfreak representative and the distributor. The inventory will be maintained at sufficient levels for the needs of the area. In addition, the inventory will be reviewed periodically by the Spillfreak representative to ensure a proper level and balance, and to reduce obsolescence. When the shelf-stock items are deleted from the Spillfreak line, the distributor will be notified. The merchandise may be returned subject to a handling charge of 30% or a stock order of equal value. Stock items will be accepted once a year on a mutually agreed designated date. The dollar value of such returns will not exceed 5% of the distributor’s purchases during the preceding 12-month period. A handling charge of 30% will be deducted from the credit, or the distributor can place a replacement order for the full amount of the credit. Any other sales returns will be subject to a 30% handling charge unless there was an error by Spillfreak or the product was received in a damaged condition by the distributor. Materials returned must have Spillfreak approval prior to shipping and must be returned with an approved Return Material Authorization (RMA) which will be valid only for a 30-day period. The material must be shipped prepaid and received in an undamaged and resalable condition. Any material received damaged or in an unsalable condition will be subject to a reconditioning charge. A credit will be issued, based on prices in effect either at time or purchase or on the date received by Spillfreak, whichever is lower.

WARRANTY

The standard Spillfreak warranty applies to all orders and invoices: Spillfreak guarantees that any product of its manufacture, which upon examination is found by a Spillfreak representative to be defective either in workmanship or material whereby it is not suitable under proper usage and service for the purpose for which designed, will be repaired or replaced free of charge excluding transportation charges and the cost of installation. This will be Spillfreak’ maximum liability. The sale of Spillfreak products under any other warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, is not authorized by Spillfreak Inc.
